LakelandGear is now offering a PackRight Classic Car Top Carrier with a special Frame System.  The frame fits inside the Classic Carrier to give it structure like a roof top box.  The resulting wide opening makes the Classic Bag With Frame extremely easy to load.

Now car top bags have the same ease of use as a hard shell roof top box.  The frame even disassembles for compact storage.  The light weight Frame System presses together in minutes, requiring no tools or glue.  The Frame System includes an additional strap to simplify the Classic's closure method.  You simply press the Velcro closures together, wrap the strap around the bag, and buckle it.

The size of the Classic Carrier fully loaded is equivalent to a medium size car trunk.  The carrier comes with a StrapRight Strap Set (4 straps to hold the carrier to 2 or 4 luggage rack bars), complete instructions, and a stuff sack for storage when not in use.  The Frame system ships in a separate package.

The Classic Carrier can be used on vehicles with or without roof racks.  For vehicles without roof racks, you have two choices:

1.  Run the included StrapRight Straps over the carrier, through the open vehicle door, along the inside roof of the vehicle,  through the opposite vehicle door, and attach to the other end of the strap.

2.  Use the accessory item, Car Clip Strap Set, to strap over the carrier and clip onto a ledge or rain gutter inside the vehicle's door frame.  See the link below for more information.
