The PackRight Sport Jr. is a revolutionary new product from PackRight. It is the only car top carrier designed especially for compact and mid size cars without luggage racks. The carrier includes the Car Clip Strap Set which allows it to be attached to the vehicle's door frame. Just like its bigger brothers, the Sport Jr. features the innovative ZipRight zipper system, a urethane coated zipper located on the protective flap to keep rain out. The Sport Jr. is aerodynamically designed to cut the wind (13" high in front and 16" high in back) which saves $$$ at the gas pump. The bag is constructed of a thick, PVC backed polyester , UV resistant Hydrotuff Material. The ZipRight zipper unzips around 3/4 of the bag to provide for an easy loading opening.
The Sport Jr. lets you gain more cargo carrying capacity for your compact or mid size car-why should the suvs and minivans have all of the goodies. The carrier comes with the Car Clip Strap Set (2 straps), complete instructions, and a stuff sack for storage when not in use. We must admit that this bag works perfectly on larger vehicles as well for the quick weekend getaway.
You may attach the Sport Jr. Carrier to your vehicle in one of three ways:
1. Use the included Car Clip Strap Set to strap over the carrier and clip onto a ledge or rain gutter inside the vehicle's door frame. See the Car Clip Strap Set link below for more information.
2. Remove the clips from the ends of the straps. Run the straps over the carrier, through the open vehicle door, along the inside roof of the vehicle, through the opposite vehicle door, and attach to the other end of the strap. This option would be chosen if your vehicle's door frame has no ledge or rain gutter. See the Car Top Carrier Packing And Strapping Instructions link below for more information.
3. If using the carrier on a larger vehicle with a roof rack, first remove the clips from the ends of the straps. Then, attach the 2 straps to the roof rack, either front to back or side to side. See the Car Top Carrier Packing And Strapping Instructions link below for more information.
